  • Doi Wawee Pu-erh Tea is a distinctive and high-quality tea from the northern highlands of Thailand, specifically the Doi Wawee region. While traditionally associated with China, Pu-erh production in Doi Wawee benefits from the region’s fertile soil, high altitude, and ideal climate, creating a unique take on this celebrated tea. Made from old tea trees, it captures the essence of the local terroir while staying true to the traditional Pu-erh crafting process.

    Key Characteristics:
    Flavor Profile:

Bright, crisp, and vibrant, with floral and grassy notes complemented by a subtle minerality and soft astringency. As it ages, it gains smoother, more mellow characteristics with honeyed and fruity undertones.

    Aroma:

fresh and floral with hints of green herbs and stone fruit.

    Production:
Doi Wawee Pu-erh follows the traditional Chinese Pu-erh production methods. The leaves are hand-harvested, with minimal processing for sheng Pu-erh and careful fermentation for shu Pu-erh. The region’s older tea trees and pristine growing conditions impart a distinct flavor and complexity to the tea.

    Brewing Instructions:
Tea Amount: Use 5 grams of tea per 150–200 ml of water.
